The Mission

iVerbum

The iPieta family of apps are the apostolate of iVerbum, which is a tax-exempt non-profit corporation.

Mission Statement

The mission of iVerbum is to make available Catholic doctrine, prayers, spirituality, and educational resources in a convenient and efficient manner with minimum expense to the recipient. To fulfill this mission, all involved in this mission should strive to fully adhere to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and to direct their efforts towards the glory of God and salvation of souls under the patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Holy Angels. All people of good will are invited to make use of these resources for their study and reflection.

There are different ways you can help us in our mission:
• Pray for this apostolate and for all iPieta users.
• Introducing your friends and fellow parishioners to iPieta.
• Contact us about how to improve the app.
• Help beta-test.
• Helping us increase the content and expand into new languages.

Languages

• The iPieta framework facilitates rapid and efficient quickly and efficiently within one’s primary language, while at the same time giving access to other languages with ease.
• With your help, we hope to add spiritual works from other languages and to extend the user interface to more languages. The user interface is presently in English, Spanish, German, French, and Turkish.

Audio

• We continue to record optional and free audio which can be downloaded within the app.

• Most prayers in English and Latin have been recorded as well as some basic prayers in Spanish, German, and Turkish.

• The New Testament and the Psalms from the Douay-Rheims Bible as well as some works in Veritas have been recorded in English.

Funding

• This work is apostolic: All participants work for nothing or for bonafide reduced rates.
• iVerbum is an approved 501c3 non-profit corporation. We are grateful for any contribution towards this apostolate, which we pray may be wholly directed towards God’s glory and the salvation of souls!

Help Us Improve iPieta!

• These projects obviously require funding. All members of our team work in a true apostolic manner: That is, they work either for nothing (e.g., the computer coding) or for bonafide reduced rates (e.g., the professional audio processing).
• iVerbum, Inc. has been approved as a 501c3 non-profit corporation. We are grateful for any contribution to help sustain this apostolate. On our part, we pray with our Lord’s assistance that we may continue to operate this apostolate so that it may wholly directed towards leading souls to our Lord Jesus who is rich in mercy!
